Dr. Jiang Wu is a design educator and researcher at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China, where he serves as Programme Director of the MSc Innovative Design and Deputy Director for Partnerships and Alumni Relations (GEP, FoSE). He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He received a PhD in Human–Computer Interaction from the Intelligent Lighting Institute (ILI) at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), in collaboration with Philips Lighting (now Signify), and a Master’s degree from the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University. His work focuses on product design, interdisciplinary innovation, and design education informed by indigenous philosophy and SDGs. At UNNC, he has co-led the University’s first Zhejiang Provincial Teaching and Education Achievement Award and contributed to the development of one Provincial First-Class UG Module, 27 international design awards (including Red Dot, iF, A’ Design Award, and IDA Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards), 12 MoE-approved national awards, seven external exhibitions, and over 20 major media features, including coverage by China Youth Daily, China Education Online, Zhejiang Daily, and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, among others.
