Dr. Hong Zhang is a Tutor in Business and Economics at the Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) China. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Hong joined UNNC in 2016, initially working as a content tutor for preliminary-year courses in business economics and mathematics at the Centre for English Language Education (CELE). Later, in CELE, he also served as the leader and line manager of the business content team (2020-2023) and the quantitative methods content team (2023-2025). In 2025, he transitioned back to the FAE department at NUBS China. With over ten years of experience in teaching and convening preliminary-year undergraduate courses for both domestic and international students, he has pedagogical interests with a focus on economics, mathematics, and statistics. Currently, he delivers the modules: "Introduction to Mathematics for Business and Economics A" and "Introduction to Statistics for Business" to Year 1 students at NUBS.
