Dr. Feranita is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Nottingham University Business School China, University of Nottingham Ningbo China, where she also serves as Director of the Ingenuity Lab, a university-level tri-campus platform connecting academic and industry expertise to support entrepreneurship and innovation.
She earned her PhD from Lancaster University, UK, after completing a Master of Research in Management Sciences at ESADE Business School, Spain, and an MBA from Nanyang Business School, Singapore.
Her research primarily employs qualitative methods and focuses on family business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and university-industry collaborations. She has published in leading academic journals, including the British Journal of Management, R&D Management, and the Journal of Family Business Strategy. Additionally, her work includes family business case studies in SAGE Business Cases, as well as books, book chapters on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability, and media articles.
Beyond academia, Dr. Feranita is a certified professional coach, working closely with startups and business families to support their growth and sustainability.
