Expertise Summary
Bingjian is a professional industrial designer and design academic. He received his BEng, MSc and PhD (Full Scholarship, Loughborough University) in the area of industrial design. He was the founding programme director of the department of industrial design at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). In September 2018, he joined Ningbo Nottingham University (UNNC) and was immediately appointed as the Director of Product Design and Manufacture Programme. Apart from design education and research, he also has close collaborative relationship with industry, including Hisense and CRRC which he designed the 500KM/H high speed train concept for in 2018.
