Description
Guided by the theory of platformization and framing in communication studies, qualitative thematic analysis has shown that news framing exhibits features of collaboration in its coverage in different languages depending on platforms with translation obscured. This study contributes to scholarship by the proposition of collaborative framing conceptualized as the frame that is shared by versions in different languages with the view to promote salience and selection of episodic frames while conforming to the target platforms.
